Subjects in the Combined Studies Degree Programme:
In this programme you study two pathways equally and graduate with a degree named after your subject choices. For example if you take Education Studies and English you graduate BA (Hons) Education Studies and English; if you take Psychology and Sociology you graduate BSc (Hons) Psychology and Sociology. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?
At level 4 you are introduced to your subject and in the two Graduate Skills modules develop your skills in effective writing and study methods, the use of computers and critical thinking.
At level 5 you delve deeper into your subject areas and study the problem solving and research methods that underpin how knowledge is created.
At level 6 you specialise in different topics in your two pathways and undertake an extensive piece of research in your dissertation.
