Paying for your fees
Learners who are unable to pay their fees, must apply for a loan through the Student Loans Company before enrolment. The reference number will be required as part of the enrolment process. If the Student Loans Company declines their application they will be liable for the full fee. If the Student Loans Company has not made a decision by the time the course has been running for 6 weeks they will be liable for their fee.
Where the learner is paying for their fees they have 10 working days to pay in full or set up an instalment plan. Home students who pay their full fees within 10 working days of receiving their invoice will be eligible for a 10% discount of the fee. Overseas students are not entitled to a discount for early payment.
Students who start their study in 2011/12 will not be charged the 2012/13 fee in the following year.
Students who are taking a second degree are charged the same as students taking their first degree. Most providers charge home/EU students who already have degree a much higher fee.
